A lifelong resident of the Kanawha Valley; I grew up during the heady days of the 1970s.  I was always a music nerd.  In high school, I worked part time as a bus boy at the Smiley’s Motel buffet to pay for my 1^st real stereo system. While earning a degree in electrical engineering at WVU, I also volunteered at the campus radio station, WWVU. After working for 40 years in the electrical utility industry, I retired on a Friday and started my WTSQ career the following Monday morning!
